Responsibilities:
- Follow up project issue under guidance of Project Engineering Manager;
- Coordinate line extension projects with internal & OEMs to meet launch plan;
- Follow up product maintenance such CAR, optimization & ECN’s;
- Follow up on activities that may cover from Tooling DFM, EB building, JIRA issues and action plan, DQTP testing to Product compliance;
- Knowledge and experience to develop design changes that are functionally and completed in a timely manner;
- Business travel as per business needs – mostly domestic but may require international.
Skills:
- Basic experience for small appliance, medical products, automotive components product design and follow up; preferrable if the candidate has International household appliance product compliance requirement knowledge
- Knowledge of plastic part design & basic concept of tooling structure and molding process;
- Good understanding for regulation standards such as UL, IEC and chemical requirement-ROHS, Reach, CB, etc;
- Familiar with Creo and MS Office, PLM knowledge an added advantage
- Open minded and have strong team work spirit
- Able to work independently with minor guidance
- Basic project management concept & skills
- Good communication skill and know how to work with suppliers and internal department to get required output;
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in factory Engineering department, working from Concept to production, plus product maintenance;
- 2+ years’ experience in home appliance industry or heated product or kitchen appliances development;
- University Degree in a subject relevant to the position is preferable—Engineering, mechanical design etc.
